The trailer of the Halo television series is officially revealed

Next year, Paramount + Subscribers will have the opportunity to see a live action series based on the halo franchise, and tonight, The Game Awards revealed first progress of the program. The spectators had the opportunity to see Master Chief in action, and the series seems incredibly promising so far! It is too early to know if the adaptation can capture the quality of the Xbox series, but it is quite amazing to see how these elements come alive.

The trailer gives us some interesting flashes of Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief, as well as Jen Taylor as Cortana. The series is being produced by Showtime, 343 Industries (the current developer of the Halo series) and Ambling Television. The nine episodes series will focus on the war between the Space Command of the United Nations and the Covenant. The series was originally programmed to go out in Showtime, but a change to Paramount + was announced in February.

This year marks the twentieth anniversary of the halo franchise. Halo: Combat Evolved launched together with the original Xbox in 2001, offering the system its first essential game. As a result, Master Chief quickly became a pet for the Xbox platform. Halo Infinite, the last entry of the series, was initially planned to launch together with the Xbox Series X hardware | S, but was delayed more than a year, so that 343 Industries could polish the game even more. The delay seems to have been worth it in an important way, since the reception of criticism has been quite strong.

The adaptations of video games have often been a mixture, but aureole look pretty good, so far! Fans will have to wait a little longer to see if the program can offer a solid version of the original material, but it is expected that the finished product is up to the name of halo. Fortunately, it seems that we will not have to wait much more to find out.
