Raven Software announced today that it will revert a controversial change change that recently made for the duty area: War Zone, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. Recently, Raven Software decided to modify the operation of the Equipment in Call of Duty: Warzone, making changes that nobody asked or wanted. As expected, the changes were found with a violent reaction, which leads to the revocation of this change, which Raven Software says that it was inspired by the “comments of the community”, also known as the aforementioned violent reaction.
What does this mean? Well, it means that Loadout Drops will be available again to buy in Buy Stations at any time instead of being restricted to the first minutes of the rounds.
“Waiting for the launch of the second season, the _Obligations, the team is pleased to share a recent change in the game that Raven Software is doing in Warzone,” is read in a statement that accompanies the news. “After the comments of the community during the first season, Raven Software is reversing the Standard Battle Time Royale Loadout Drop. As part of today’s minor update, operators should expect to see Loadout Drops available to buy from Buy Stations at any time, instead of restricting availability during the first minutes of a match. “
The statement adds:
“Both studies, and all those who work in Call of Duty will continue to listen and act on community concerns at all levels. As we approach the second season, which will further address the optimization of the game, balance, stability of the game and errors, you can expect more details about these updates through the Obligations Blog, of the patch notes directly From Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software, and at all Obligations Social Channels ».
Raven Software has still provided a minimum idea of why they made these changes in the first place, but it is enough to say that there will be no more load changes in the short term. That said, the team is clearly less than impressed with the current system, so do not expect them to remain unchanged forever.
