Ice hockey superstar Leon Draisaitl has achieved a spectacular victory with the Edmonton Oilers and impressively returned to the NHL playoffs. The Canadians won their second round of 16 against the Los Angeles Kings 6-0 and thus returned to the surprising opening bankruptcy (3: 4).
Draisaitl opened the goal series at the beginning of the second third with his goal to 1-0. After that, the spell was broken, the game at 3-0 was practically decided before the final section. In the best-of-Seven series, the Oilers set 1-1, game three takes place on Saturday night.
With Nico Sturm, the second German NHL professional also has a good chance of progressing. After the successful opening game (7: 2) of the Colorado Avalanche, the second game against Nashville Predators takes place on Friday night.
With the Oilers this season, Draisaitl wants to build on the club’s successful era with the legendary Wayne Gretzky. “There is no one who wants it more than we players,” Draisaitl said before the start of the playoffs: “We want to be the team that brings back these times.”
